THE1234 Festival which comes to Shoreditch Park on the 9 July, have announced their collaboration with Noisey.com, a new music discovery platform that launched earlier this year. The partnership for the 2011 festival seems a natural fit for the partnership as THE1234 Festival continues in its maverick tradition of setting the agenda with their chaotic and inspirational line-ups.

Macmillan’s Big Mix festival took over East London’s Shoreditch with over 80 acts showcasing the best of cabaret, comedy and music performing across 10 venues.
Formerly known as The Brick Lane Takeover, the hottest spots including Rich Mix, The Light, Cargo, Concrete, The Brickhouse, Spitalfields and Vibe saw top class acts including Newton Faulkner, Edith Bowman, Clare Maguire, Tim Burgess, James Yuill, Treetop Flyers, Zero 7 DJ set from Sam Hardaker, CocknBullKid, The Pipettes and comedy from Rufus Hound, Kevin Eldon, Diane Spencer and Chris Mayo.
